Malibu Media files 32 new lawsuits in New York in January

The infamous copyright plaintiff, Malibu Media, filed 32 lawsuits in the Southern District of New York in Janauary. The suits allege that defendants downloaded Malibu’s videos illegally and seek statutory damages.

New Jersey sees 16 new Malibu Media cases in November

Malibu Media has resumed filings in New Jersey after skipping October. They filed 16 new copyright cases in the state in November. This brings the total number of Malibu cases in the Garden State to 167 since 2012. Malibu has filed a grand total of 3107 federal lawsuits around the country in the last three years.
