26 new Maryland Malibu Media lawsuits bring in the New Year (November 2015 to January 2016)

Malibu Media, LLC, owner of the X-Art.com adult website, continues to file a record-setting number of lawsuits around the United States, taking advantage of copyright laws which currently favor plaintiffs. In the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, 26 new lawsuits were filed between November of 2015 and January of 2016. Defendants in the newest of these Malibu Media lawsuits can expect to begin receiving notices of the subpoenas from their service providers in the middle of January, if they haven't already. These subpoenas seek the subscribers’ names and addresses.
