Who we are
The Torrent Defense Law Firm is the trade name of Law Firm of Leonard J. French. We have also been known as Torrent Defense.
Attorneys and admissions
The Law Firm of Leonard J. French practices exclusively in federal court, defending copyright cases nationwide. Leonard J. French is a member of the Pennsylvania bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the Northern and Western Districts of New York, the District of Colorado, and the District of Columbia. J. Curtis Edmondson, Of Counsel, is a member of the California, Washington, Oregon, and District of Columbia bars and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California, the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, the District of Oregon, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Western District of New York, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Ninth, and Federal Circuits, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In other federal courts, the firm appears pro hac vice with local counsel. The firm does not provide advice on state law.
