Excellent Lawyer you can trust
Working with Leonard was the best decision I could have made for my case. I had contacted multiple other attorneys who immediately resorted to fear-mongering and demanded massive $2k retainers upfront and recommended to settle out of court for $10k for something I had nothing to do with. Leonard was the exact opposite. He is an honest, trustworthy attorney who genuinely cares about his clients. He took the time to walk me through the legal process step-by-step, eased my nerves, and laid out all possible options so I could make an informed decision. No scare tactics, just excellent legal counsel. 10/10 experience. I will definitely use him again if the need ever arises.

I contacted Leonard after failing to find any real assistance from our "family" attorney. He was knowledgeable, investigated the situation quickly and resolved the matter in about 30 days and the settlement was half the amount that he initially thought would be accepted. I received the dreaded letter from Comcast. My lawyer told me to get a law firm that specializes in copyright infringement. I contacted some large law firms and very quickly felt like a number. I saw videos that Mr. French had put on uTube and since after researching the possible penalties I was on the verge of a stroke, I gave him a call. Right away he made me more relaxed and did it even though he made it clear there are never any guarantees. He has great confidence in himself. A True Life-Saver
After being hit with a letter from my ISP, I reached out to many different lawyers, most of which told me I am basically going to need to take out big loans to pay off the settlement as well as their services. I reached out to Leonard and not only was he the most knowledgeable, but he was also the most willing to explain every step of the process. Due to some personal events going on, I did not think that I would be able to afford paying off any settlements, but Leonard was able to work with the opposing council and myself to come to a settlement that wouldn't put my family and me on the streets. Extremely patient and understanding
I received a subpoena notice and instantly panicked thinking my life was over. I had previously watched Leonard's youtube videos so I trusted and respected him. I gave him a call and he helped to calm me down while answering all of my questions. He was able to negotiate a settlement with the opposing party for half of what he originally told me it would cost (due to financial circumstances). I can't tell you the amount of relief I felt seeing the matter was finally closed. I'd recommend Leonard in a heartbeat to anyone!
Excellent copyright case attorney.
I was sent a letter by Verizon that I was being sued in Federal Court for copyright theft for a several violations. I became quite upset that my financial future could be permanent jeopardized by these claims. After investigating the charges, the case, and available options I decided to obtain Mr. French to represent me. In our first phone discussion as others have mentioned, Leonard is thoughtful, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable and thorough. We worked on several aspects of my situation and he did an amazing job reviewing a large amount of documents I provided and were able to come to an agreement with opposing consul that satisfied both parties. I am thoroughly relieved and the regular communication from Mr. French was a huge part of that relief. I cannot recommend him and his practice enough if you are facing a similar situation. Professional and knowledgeable are the first things that come to mind. I'd give six stars if I could.
Thorough and diligent legal help for Copyright cases.
After being targeted by a copyright troll I reached out to ECC in an attempt to try and find lawyers that are well informed about these types of cases. From that list I found Mr. French and he had responded to my inquiry with remarkable speed. When he called to consult later that day he informed me of his thirty minute to an hour consultation policy and after the hour had passed he let me know he had no problem speaking about my issue for a while longer. He empathized with me and had my interest in mind when explaining my options. The plaintiff never ended up pursuing the case but Mr. French was kind enough to let me know when the case was dropped. His information in the copyright field is unparalleled and I am extremely grateful for his aid and would be more than happy to recommend his service.

Leonard and his colleague were both reassuring and compassionate throughout the, luckily, short settlement process. In terms of communication, they were respectful, answered emails in a timely manner, and scheduled phone conversations to my liking. Leonard was very upfront about my different options from the very beginning and informed me of how each option might pan out. They saved me a lot of time and money in the end, and I truly appreciate the work they are doing.

I retained Mr. French as my attorney to represent me as a defendant in a copyright infringement case. Unlike several attorneys I considered, Mr. French didn't rush me, was compassionate and willing to spend significant time with me ensuring that I understood everything that was happening, before I even hired him. Mr. French was knowledgeable and he and his team kept me up to date as things moved along with my case, making sure that I was ok with every move that he made. He was incredibly responsive to both my requests and the movements of the case. I hired Atty. French to defend me in a recent copyright infringement suit in federal court. I was being sued for music my wife downloaded almost a decade ago that had been passively seeded without our knowledge over the internet connection that was in my name. The company was suing me for $150k in damages plus plaintiff's attorney fees; I am currently a full-time student, and my wife does not get paid much more than minimum wage. Needless to say, it was a very unexpected and scary situation, and we did not where to turn. I decided to hire Leonard after learning that he had previously defended over 300 of these lawsuits, and had dealt the opposing counsel in my case (a real schmuck) on many occasions. It seems that the legal community surrounding bit-torrent litigation is a rather small one, and Leonard stays up to date on all the latest developments and the players involved. As busy as Leonard was, he always made time to discuss my case with me, and he was more than happy to explain the legal issues at hand. Leonard thought that I had a very strong case, especially given the serious procedural errors made by the plaintiff, and he put a great deal of energy into drafting my motion to dismiss. Leonard wanted to be sure that I was 100% on-board with every action that he took in my case, and he sent me multiple revised drafts of the aforementioned motion to ensure that it was as good as could be before filing with the court. I wish I could say that this motion got rid of my lawsuit, but due to my own limited financial resources, I felt that it was most prudent to settle before our motion to dismiss was decided. Opposing counsel threatened to retract this settlement offer if the judge denied our motion, and I was faced with a very difficult choice between a certain loss and the risk of a much greater loss. I had the utmost confidence in Leonard's motion to dismiss, but the certain cost of settling at that time was already almost enough to bankrupt me, and I was unwilling to assume the inherent risk of further litigation. Leonard did his best to negotiate with opposing counsel and to help me weigh my options, which is truly to his credit. Leonard works on an hourly fee basis, and so necessarily has an incentive to work as many hours as possible, but he never pushed me to continue litigating beyond my risk tolerance--I was always confident that he had my best interests in mind. Leonard was ready to go through discovery and even go to trial if necessary, but he understood that this was probably not the wisest decision for me under the circumstances. It was not an ideal outcome for me by any means, I am certain that I wouldn't have gotten the settlement offer that I did were it not for Leonard's diligent advocacy in preparing my defense.

Expert and informed
I had consulted a few attorneys in regard to issues with contracts within my IT / AV production company. Mr. French had knowledge in the field and had a fresh perspective to all my questions. It is difficult to find someone versed in the law and internet technology. I was pleasantly surprised to discover no explanation of technology wording in my contracts was needed.
