Wait and see, with someone watching
Most people who receive an ISP notice are never named in the lawsuit. If you would rather wait than pay anyone — Strike 3 or a lawyer — Watch is for you.
What Watch is.
A limited-scope engagement, in writing, at no charge. We monitor the public court docket for your case and notify you when something material happens, with a plain-English explanation and a recommended next step: an extension of time to serve, an amended complaint naming you, a summons, a dismissal, a default.
What Watch is not.
We do not appear in the case, file anything, negotiate, or contact Strike 3 unless you separately engage us. Docket monitoring relies on public feeds that can lag the court’s records, and service can happen before anything appears on the docket, so you must forward anything you receive — from your ISP, from Strike 3, or from a process server — within 48 hours.
Who the client is.
You, the subscriber. If someone else in your household may be involved, they need their own lawyer, and we will explain why.
What it costs.
Nothing. If Strike 3 moves and you decide to engage us, your rate is locked at $1,500 unless you have been served. See fees by stage.
When it ends.
Automatically when the case is dismissed as to you, after twelve months without activity, or if we cannot reach you. You will get a closing letter.
